MILKLAB is the #1 plant-based milk used by Australian cafes and is available in more than 22 countries. Developed in colLABoration with experienced baristas and coffee professionals, MILKLAB complements the flavour of espresso coffee by delivering a delicious, creamy taste that elevates the coffee experience.
In late 2022, Lydia and Nat from MILKLAB approached us with a request for a complete revamp of their website, including design, web development, and an eCommerce store. To ensure that we could best deliver on the project brief, we collaborated with our buddies at SIXGUN and George Norris Copywriter, and worked closely with the MILKLAB team throughout the entire process.
Our main objective was to update the website's look and feel to match MILKLAB's latest marketing campaign and imagery, while also highlighting their barista milk products with highly detailed and engaging individual pages. We utilised advanced CMS capabilities that allow for easy updates, unique template designs, and cross-referencing capabilities between various CMS collections.
MILKLAB has a growing global distributor network requiring agile data entry, which resulted in the inclusion of a finder integration tool to locate distributors, all contained on an interactive map. To showcase MILKLAB's information hub aptly labelled 'The LAB', we created five separate CMS collections to include everything from events and recipes to industry collaborations and more.
Utilising Webflow's powerful CMS and design capabilities, we were able to bring the central marketing site to life. With an expanding merch range full of barista gear and exclusive collaborations, we sandboxed Shopify to take advantage of its industry-standard reliability and powerful integration library for the eCommerce store.
We loved working with MILKLAB, SIXGUN, and George Norris Copywriter on this one, and we are stoked with the outcome. The new website successfully showcases MILKLAB's premium brand presence, products, and fun personality. We look forward to watching MILKLAB continue to dominate the plant-based milk market in Australia and beyond!
